General Ordering

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?

  Shipping address
  Billing address (if different)

Orders placed by fax will be confirmed by fax within 48 hours of receipt.

DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

Yes. We invite our International customers to order through their representative in their country.  For a full list of our representatives, click here.  If we do not currently have representation in your country, you may order online in our International store.

DO YOU ACCEPT UNIVERSITY PURCHASE ORDERS?

Yes.  Simply fax the PO to 435.787.8268.

IF I ORDER ONLINE, HOW DO I KNOW YOU RECEIVED MY ORDER?

The e-store sends an automatic e-mail confirming all purchases shortly after completion of an on-line order.  If this email is not received, please notify Apogee.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE SHIPPING COSTS? (US orders)

For domestic orders, we use UPS Ground or 3-Day Select, depending on your location (Next Day and 2nd Day Air are also available).  For international orders, we use UPS Worldwide Express.  We provide an email confirmation with a tracking number so you can check the progress of your shipment.  We can arrange to use the shipping company of your choice. 

Actual cost is based on weight, package value (we insure for the full amount of the order), and your distance from Logan, UT (84321).  The e-store automatically adds shipping charges to orders.  Orders placed by fax will be confirmed with shipping costs.

WHAT CREDIT CARD DO YOU ACCEPT? WHEN I PLACE AN ORDER, WHEN WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.  Credit cards are charged the day of shipment.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

Typically customers choose to pay with a credit card.  To pay with a Purchase Order, first send current banking information and three credit references to Apogee by fax at 435.787.8268 or by email at admin@apogee-inst.com.  Approval is usually made within 24 to 48 hours.  (Universities need not supply this information.)  Payment terms on Purchase Orders are Net 30.

HOW SOON CAN YOU SHIP?

Our standard lead time is 10 to 15 business days.  However, orders for many standard items can be shipped within 3 to 4 business days from date of order, pending stock of that item. 

All instruments calibrated to sunlight (pyranometers and quantum sensors) may take additional time in the winter.

HOW CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL CABLE FOR MY SENSORS USING YOUR E-STORE?

After selecting your sensor, go to the Accessories part of the store and add the type of wire you need to your basket.  One additional meter is added by this process.  Then, simply go to "View Basket" (icon at the top of your screen) and update the amount. 

Without ordering extra cable, the standard of 3 meters are included on solar radiation sensors and 4.5 meters are included on infra-red radiometers and thermocouples.
